Christmas Movies not only features DVDs, but also the newest disc format, Blu-ray, which is on track to eventually supersede DVDs as the preferred home optical disc storage medium.

Video on Demand has also become a popular option for those that would rather view a movie in real time instead of waiting for something to be shipped. Therefore, as Christmas movies become available in this format, they are added as an option for purchase.

And never to forget the older Video Home System (VHS) video tape format, those items are also made available, even though they are typically only available via resale channels.
