Purple Kitty Yarns is our oldest site, starting in 2003 as an online craft retail store. Purple Kitty includes hundreds of free crochet patterns and knitting patterns republished with permission by the copyright holders.

Started at the beginning of 2005, Free Vintage Crochet was an experiment we tried to see if there was any interest in vintage crochet patterns that had passed into the public domain. Boy, was there ever!

With the success of the free crochet pattern site, we decided at the end of 2005 to also offer free knitting patterns that had passed into the public domain and created Free Vintage Knitting .

Our Soaring Eagle brings you classic literature from great authors like Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, William Shakespeare, Mark Twain and more in one convenient location.

Rainbow Spring Acres is our farm website. We specialize in the breeding of registered pygora goats and pygmy goats and producing quality fleece for spinning.

We have been raising goats since the early 1980s and all of our NPGA registered pygmy goats and PBA registered pygora goats are bred for balance and correctness according to the breed standards of the National Pygmy Goat Association and the Pygora Breeders Association. Our goats are also certified disease-free from CAE, Johne's and Scrapie.
